Know how

Stage 1
Production of Clay

Our low porous earthenware is the result of a clever mix of clays and water. The slip obtained is dried in order to get a very compact clay, which guarantee a better resistance to thermal and mechanical shocks (from - 25°C to + 250°C guarantee).

Stage 2
Design workshop

Thanks to our in house design workshop, we constantly propose new shapes.

Stage 3
Press and finishing touchs

The clay is pressed in a plaster mould. Then knives, sponges and water are used to give the dish a perfect surface finish, by removing any blemishes.

Stage 4
Drying and glazing

The pot is dried in a hot cabinet before being glazed.
Then it is spray glazed.
We also produce our own glazing, and all colours are fixed in our R&D laboratory. For this we use highly selected natural pigments.

Stage 5
Firing

We use high temperature and long term kilns that allows the colours to be expressed at their best. It also assures the solidity expected by our customers.
