To make in the Gaïa pie serving dish
Ingredients for 8 people:
400 gr (14oz) sugar crust pastry, 4 eggs, 2 yolks, 600 gr (21 oz) Apple jam, 4 dl (0.4 qt) cream, 60 gr (2oz) powdered sugar, cocoa powder.
Making:
In the Appolia Pie serving dish place the crust pastry, and chill in the fridge for 1 hour. Cover it with parchment paper and add dried beans.
Bake at 200°C (390°F) for 10 minutes.
Mix the apple jam with the geggs and let it rest for 5 minutes. Pour the mix into the pie crust slowly at 130°C (270°F) for 20 minutes.
Whip the cream and powdered suger until you peaks of whipped cream and place it on the pie at 1 cm (0.40 inch) heigth.
Sprinkle with cocoa, and serve with Vanilla or Toffee ice cream.
